245cm x 250cm Hand Knotted Mamluk Ziegler Round Rug

Product Details

Product Description

Hand-knotted from 100% hand-spun wool, this round rug from the Mamluk Ziegler collection displays intricate geometric and classical Mamluk motifs. The design centres on an elaborate octagonal medallion surrounded by concentric geometric bands, framed by a wide border with roundels and floral filigree. A rich terracotta rust red field forms the foundation, accented with navy blue, soft golden ochre, slate grey, and muted ivory. The low, thin wool pile delivers a refined, tactile texture with natural variations in hue characteristic of hand-spun yarn.

Measuring 250 cm x 243 cm, this circular rug provides a focal point for spacious living rooms, dining areas, and large entrances. Pair it with a round dark wood or glass-topped dining table to mirror its circular form, or position it beneath an arrangement of neutral armchairs. The warm rust and deep blue tones complement walnut finishes, antique brass hardware, and palettes of warm neutrals and cream upholstery.
