The design is set against an abrash light blue field, framed by a delicate floral border. Symmetrical botanical motifs, palmettes, and scrolling vines spread across the centre in warm shades of terracotta, ruby red, gold, ivory, and accents of turquoise and plum. Hand-spun wool fibres give the surface a gentle texture and subtle tonal depth throughout the composition.
